# Funding Your Wallet with Bitcoin

You need BTC for two purposes:

* Purchasing BRC-20 assets
* Paying Bitcoin network transaction fees

### Ways to Acquire BTC

#### Centralized Exchanges (CEXs)

Popular options include:

* Coinbase
* Binance
* Kraken
* OKX

Purchase BTC and withdraw it to your wallet address.

#### Cross-Chain Swaps

If you already hold assets on another blockchain, you can use bridging or swapping solutions to obtain BTC.

#### Third-Party Providers

Services such as MoonPay allow direct purchases using traditional payment methods.

### Sending BTC to Your Wallet

1. Open your wallet.
2. Copy your Bitcoin receiving address.
3. Send BTC from your exchange or provider.
4. Wait for confirmation on the Bitcoin network.

Once confirmed, your BTC balance will appear in your wallet.
